We have lost another great guy, I am glad that I had the pleasure to meet Frank, and consider him a true friend. RIP Frank, you will be missed greatly.
Oh man, this is sad.. I was really pullin for him, sounded like the battle was too strong. RIP,FAB32.
This absolutely breaks my heart,Frank was a big part of the Hamb and his knowledge and keen sense of humor will be missed for years to come. I never met Frank face to face but through all the PM's and a few phone calls I felt I knew him well. This is a sad day for all of us,I am fighting back the tears of loosing another friend here on the hamb. Praying for his family,I know Frank and his wife celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary back in September and both have a strong faith in the Good Lord. Danny
We knew it was coming but it hurts so much to type this. I'm so lucky to have been Frank and Rich's (fuelpump) lunch partner almost every Wednesday for the last eight years. I learned so much from Frank over that time and I cherished every second I got to spend with him. I've said it a million times, I wouldn't have a hot rod if it weren't for him. I miss you already buddy, rest in peace. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!

Scott, when expressing my sympathies in my earlier post I inadvertently left out his close friends like yourself and Rich and many I am not aware of,Praying for you guys also,I know there will be a void in your lives with Franks passing. Danny
Sad news. I take some consolation cause he shared his love of rods, and his help to so many of us here!
RIP Frank. While I didn't know you personally, we old timers are a fraternity linked by our love of hot rods and things mechanical, each a "part of the main". The loss of one is felt by all. The poet John Donne said "send not to know for whom the bell tolls, it tolls for thee". My sympathies and prayers to his friends and family.
Look at all these deuce guys and they let a kid with crappy old Model A hang around with them. Fuelpump, fab32, Tom May and myself heading to Flint in 2008. The other picture is a garage thrash at my place in 2007. Fuelpump is supervising while fab32 and Mike (Coupster) are conversing. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Never what you want to hear but unfortunately one of these experiences some of us have more frequently than we used to. We are "that" generation. Serves as a reminder to spend time with each other, even if it through a computer. Tim
Really sad, he was great to talk to, very knowledgeable. It was just a short time ago he was asking about my 4 dr body and talking about building a highboy.
Denise introduced Frank to me at a Pile Up show and we clicked. Straight shooter w/a heart of gold. The next Pie Up we spoke a very heartfelt conversation about life, not just cars. We had teared up when talking about people we cared for (You too Denise). He said he would be honored to be my friend. A while ago he sent a email of his mothers passing. He was there at the hospital, sitting holding her hand when she took a last breath, sighed and peacefully left, Holding her hand. Now he can rejoin her and those before him. Maybe I will get to see you again Frank, no more tears then.
Sad Frank will be missed! ... I always enjoyed reading his posts ... always informative and/or complementary ... Here's his last H.A.M.B. post (from exactly a month ago): If he didn't have something nice to say, he kept it to himself ... or politely explained his disagreement ... a true gentleman! RIP @fab32 ... My condolences to the Burrell family and all of Frank's friends.
Sad to hear. I always enjoyed reading Frank's posts. Although I didn't personally know him, being from Michigan, I'm sure we had crossed paths through the years. My Condolences to his family & friends.
damn,,sorry to hear, Denise introduced him to me over 10 years ago at the Street Rod Nats,,great guy and always enjoyed his posts
