I couldnt find one for my 56 Chrysler Windsor and placed an ad on here for a good used one and got one.Hope this helps.Bruce.
I know this is a long shot but i have a nos sender for a 70 torino wagon. Don't know if it fits as they used the same sender for years sometimes.
Tanks inc offers universal sending units in the various ohms ranges necessary to match up with your fuel gage. www.tanksinc.com be sure to check on the "more info" ****on. The ohms range for the sending unit tedley mentioned has the same ohms range as your oem, so "electrically" it'll work..just don't know about the physical fitment.

Find what the stock ohmn range is and buy a universal sending unit of matching ohmns. Follow the directions for setting it, adjust as needed, install and you're done
Thanks for all your responses. So far no luck on rockauto, kanter, ford barn, or dearborn. Some websites list sending units for "full size cars" but some say except wagons and some do not so I'm ***uming a galaxie sending unit won't fit. I'll check and see if the sending guy can rebuild mine. I'll see if I can find out that part# and check green sales. AA didn't answer.
I had a hell of a time locating an NOS one, wagon tanks were different from Galaxie's. Nobody reproduces them. If yours is like mine it installs in the front of the tank but has a different length and bend than the Galaxies. Depending on the condition of your tank another option is a large fuel cell with a sending unit included. Matching it to the gauge is important Ford and Chevy are different. Or just install an after market gauge that will work with new unit. Good luck
I used a universal one that matched the stock gauge's ohm rating from Summit on my '62 Monterey Wagon (same tank as your Country Squire). Seems to work well.
