Customs Quick question on a " 49 styleline "

    I no longer have the original rear end have a 4x4 s10 ready to go in, I need to make some pearches with the 1 1/2" offset but does anybody know what the leaf spring centering pin to pin measurement is or pearch center to pearch center ?

    just get some U channel, cut the radius for the housing in it, then set the rear in place. before you drill the holes for the center pin, put the u bolts on loosely. use a floor jack to lift the car by the rear axle to put weight on the springs. You can no use a hammer and slide the rear axle forward or back to center the wheels in the fender opening. then you will know where to drill the hole for center pin, and the wheels will look just right in the opening. oh yeah, you can also use a deeper piece of U channel to lower the car a bit while you are making the perches.

    I've got a 49 rear end out behind the shop. I can get a measurement in the morning.

    Thanks guys @Davyj yeah I'm gona make some at work tomorrow gona mount this weekend ! @Lobucrod that would be awesome at least I'd know if I get close

    Measured rear outside two ways. Came up with 45-7/16 both times. Measured spacing on springs on 50 sedan delivery and got 45-1/2 so its all in the ball park.
