Customs Chopped, Blue, '40 Merc at Mooneyes info?

Anybody have any info on that blueish/purple,chopped,'40 Merc that was at Mooneyes? I can't find the number. Looked really great! I had never seen it before.

 

I think the guy with the black slicked hair, cuffed jeans, and black hot rod shirt knows that guy...

 

The one with tattoos?

Pretty sure it was out there last year in bare metal---forget the owners name though.
If so it sure looks nice with paint.

Nope....different car. The bare-metal one,is still bare-metal.

It used to be owned by one of the guys in the Swanx, but now belongs to a guy named Jack Connor. The recent updates were done by Jesse Miller at Sacramento Kustoms. I don't have Jack's contact info, but if you call the shop, Jesse can probably hook you up....916-475-5531.

I LOVE that ****in car! I almost traded my '49 Merc for a chopped '39,when I first got it on the road. I wouldn't have flamed it though. '39-'40 Mercs look better one color. When I first saw it,I thought it was another one I knew of. I'll get one,one of these days!!!!
