GM manual trans ID....HELP

    just swapped out the questionable saginaw for what i'm told is a Super T-10 trans. I just took the numbers off it, hopeing to figure out exactly what it is and what it's outta...

    Driver side:
    case cover: 5-18-62A
    case : WJ1002
    Tail : 13-04-066-905 Borg Warner

    P*** side:
    all on the case:
    9BL110851
    3-3-80
    ML-344
    1304065903
    WG DIV.
    FpC 4

    A few questions...is the case aluminum? Borg Warner did make some replacement T10 type four speeds in the late '70s-early '80s that were cast iron. Is the input shaft 26 spline? Super T-10s were, and they also had the same size output shaft as a Turbo 400.

    good move. that is what i installed after i blew up my saginaw. :)
     
  7. I have the same transmission... 11.30.78 is the build date...but there are no grooves in the input shaft... What ratios did they come in?
