i cant find any info on these solid roller lifters. made by morel and they are for sbc. they have a flat machined side to them and a flat plate that sits in the lifter bore that keeps them from turning. they have a part number that is csbv8. looks like an interesting design. what do you fellas think? thanks in advance. 100_1608.JPG 100_1612.JPG 100_1613.JPG

  3. I wonder how long that plate will last? Yes interesting design, I am just wondering about the life of that plate that keeps them from spinning.

  4. Morel still make lifters, but not in that style it seems. I'd guess that it was not successful .

would that little plate not make some grooves in the walls on the block?

thanks for the replies. that plate is a very tight fit in the block. so it should stay put but for how long is the question. has anyone else ever see this design? thanks
