i know this may sound dumb but I've bought a 1952 Hudson hornet non runner no battery. Can anyone tell me is it 6v or 12v and is it positive or negative earth. I've looked on line and it's saying 6v but doesn't say if it's positive or negative earth. I'm in uk so they aren't common over here....Bob
Hi, I don't know,but if you check the points wire from the dist. to the coil, if that wire is connected to the positive side of the coil then it is positive ground. If the points wire goes to the negative side, it is negative ground. Hope that helps,good luck Tom
