Hot Rods Coker Radial Excelsior Tires

Anyone have experience with Coker's Excelsior tires? The catalog states the need to run tubes with the radial vintage tires. If I remember correctly when they first offered this line of tires no tubes were necessary, now they say tubes are needed? Anyone having problems running these tires without tubes?

 

No problems but I have tubes

 

Many of the wheels these tires are used on do not hold air, wire wheels, etc.

 

Put tubes in mine

Had tubes in mine on the model a. Drove great. Order a spare tube.

 

Put tubes in my last 2 sets but I have a friend running them tubeless?
