They are 250.00 plus shipping I have tried to stay away from polishing it's a lot more work and most people don't want to pay the extra

Polished ones are 300.00 there's a lot more time involved in those.

Hey guys this one isn't done I'm gonna polish the handles and it's missing the T In the upper handle. It's powder coated just wanted some opinions on how it looks being powder coated instead of aluminum. ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1420928094.435509.jpg

That is a great looking gas cap, you do excellent work but I'd suggest using button head Allen's instead.

I think brass instead of polishing the black one would be killer , do you make any smaller ones for a motorcycle tank I would like to have one for my bike and one for my truck with brass if possible....

Yes I was thinking for the motorcycle size having an 1 1/2 inlet and about 3 total diameter of cap. Also thinking about not having the flange on the outside for bolts and put them on the inside. Not sure exactly yet.

  24. I want to watch when you put a 3" ring through the hole in the tank. ;)

I really like that black one, saw it on eBay too. Not crazy about the price of it. Wondering if it would fit on my Tanks Universal gas tank in place of that stupid filler neck and aluminum screw on filler cap they supply.

  26. Dean, I think the inside ring comes cut into thirds or fourths so you can easily install it in the tank, then push those super thin retainer rings over the studs to hold them in place.

And now, the black cap is on the way to me for my RPU

    Thanks outkast :)

I have seen one on a bike tank and the ring with the threads is welded onto the tank and a gasket was used, it sealed up great , I hope I can track the guy down and get a picture of his set up and measure it up for size

That would be cool if you could find it and get a pic or at least some measurements.
