they look fine to me,, If you like building them keep going for it, maybe the Picasso of modeling will catch on?
Former AMBR winner discovered languishing in collectors barn! Finally almost finished. Some one stole the headlights while this one time show car was rotting in a barn, but the new owner is tracking them down as we speak.
Here is a shot that shows a little of the interior. I sprayed a coat of testors clear pearl over white primer then semi gloss clear which all added a yellowish tint and took away the brightness of the white.
Thanks guys. Chose this pic in honor of GNRS. Lots o nice stuff this week ya'll. Keep up the good werk!
Heres a couple 1/18 scale die cast cars I gave a new look to, they looked so boring sitting in a box .
Just finished this 1/18 of Bob Falfas 55 chevy, it sat in the box for ever, I pulled it out,Took it apart, gave it a whole new atitude. And I call it "Falfas's Revenge"
not sure if this has been posted before.....thought it was neat....the box says George still has the real one he won.. ...
Ok ya'll, what'd ya'll get done this week? Had my first experience with the "purple pond." I'm happy with the results.
Did a 'lil more to the roadster too. Washed 30yrs. worth of dust off the body & started final assembly.
Thanks. The body is Testors Saphire Blue over white. The chassis is Testors/Boyds True Blue Pearl over gloss brown. The body was painted in '85.
Monogram 30 A Coupe on Revell 5W chassis with a few Rat Roaster parts thrown in 32 frame was bobbed in the rear and a shortened 32 gas tank was used upside down to create a kind of rolled pan effect. Interior framing added to the body and was detail painted. Interior is largely Rat Roaster (Seats, dash and shifter). Brakes are resin finned front from The Parts Box and Revell Tweedy Pie rear. I removed the air bags and lowered the rear and front suspensions. Paint is Revell Semi Gloss black with a bit of extra Flat Black added Chris
Heres a couple 32 fords i built years ago, the black one is AMT 32 roadster kit, and the green one is Revell's, a lil dusty
