Wow, that is a project, a major project. I see dollar signs but the end product can be very nice. Here's a photo of one for inspiration.

Cool - maybe post a Wanted Ad here asking for trim pieces that are not dinged up, can be real tricky to straighten them.

Black inside so the kids don't get it dirty and two tone green on the outside.. I'm thinking 1958 bonneville burma and calypso... I'm still deciding on the motor as to what will work best for me.. I want quiet, a little speed, reliable and be able to handle a/c.. in texas lol

Your wagon would look good done up like the 1958 Pontiac at AMBR this year. That car was my favorite of all the cars there. Of course i only saw the pictures.

Actually... I wouldn't of thought of that, but burma/calypso would be perfect for that car :) ps...do I understand you... hammered vinyl upholstery?

I think by hammered she's referring to chopped.

Ohhhhhhh... I'm old school (and old) to the point that hammered is a finish in metal or vinyl :D I drop somethin' by bending, cutting, channeling, or Z kicks to a frame ;) Honestly, I have never bagged anything (that is in the car world) :D

Very cool project! I've got a '59 Ford wagon reserved for the same purpose someday. I really dig the '58 Nomad, you just don't see many of them. Good luck!
