Well after a 15 month thrash my A is a driver. Of course there is still lots to do, but it can now serve the purpose of transportation. The quick rundown is a french flatty, T-5, suicide front end with a 10 inch kick in the rear. I chopped 3.5"s outta the top and added 3.5"s to the door length. I also wacked 12"s out of the bed. I even convinced my better half to take it for a spin. She really dug my '40, but has been lukewarm about the A. I think the sweet sound of the flatty's open pipes changed her mind.:)

Maybe it was someone else mentioning pinstriping on a grille. Yeah, this one's a real eye-catcher in person, because of all the interesting details. Crusty Nut may be "offline" for some time... :) Right on.

  14. Good job, Matt !!

Now- go out to Highway 101.
    Turn NORTH on Highway 101
    Go about 83 miles.
    Turn LEFT on 5th Street.
Turn RIGHT at the Pacific Ocean..

    You know the rest.

Congrats, cool looking truck, and believe me, gentlemen, it's even cooler in person.

I got my flatty from a guy in Texas. It is a 4" crank motor. I really like it alot. It runs killer, has awsome oil pressure and you ought to see how clean the water jackets are! It also cost roughly the same or less than a good rebuild. If you want his contact info PM me.

Now that really looks good. One question, how come you don't have any of that white stuff along the roads. We've got plenty here and will be glad to send you some.  :)
