A hot rod video? Where are the 7 day builds? The $50,000+ pricetags? The Drama? HEY!... I think I kinda like it this way better!
Very nicely done, looking forward to seeing more. Nice laid back Kiwi at***ude. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App
Very well done, I'll be looking forward to the next installment! let's see, no dues, check. No rules, check. More than two members talking cons***utes a meeting and you'd better have a beer in your hand, check. We like to keep it loose, CHECK! (Sounds like a club I know)
Thanks a lot everyone, much appreciated. The second ep is 95% done so hope to have the trailer for that out in the next week and the full episode on Feb 1. Cheers
Here's the trailer/teaser for Episode Two which will be up Feb 1. We're lucky to have a few magazines here in NZ which cover the wider hot rod, custom, muscle car hobby but these D.I.Y kind of guys have stuck to their format for 50 issues over the last 12-13 years and that format is traditionally styled NZ hot rods in a pocket size format. Anyway, about that trailer...
A very well made video & trailer - I enjoyed 'em very much . Can't wait for more !! The Royals look like a great club to belong to . Makes me wish I lived down there .
Very Cool I was just thinking yesterday that this should be coming out soon. Thank you for all your hard work I'm hooked!! Jim
Love it! Sure beats some of the **** on TV now. Like Graveyard Carz Good Luck! I will be on the lookout.
Very cool! I wish the at***ude of hot rodders was more like this in my neck of the woods. Congrats on a great show. This is the way it is supposed to be. FUN!!
Nostalgic is the word that comes to my mind, I love it! It would sure be nice to be able to return to the early days of hot rodding to just be able to soak up the way it was done back then.
Wow, nice work! Love the photography and the stories are both unpretentious and compelling. Can't wait for more!
As everyone has stated you guys certainly "got it". The music isn't too overbearing, low stress at***ude, etc. Your "southern" accents give a different vibe as well. Kinda like the low riders "low and slow" vibe. If you guys were any more laid back you'd fall over and float to Antartica. Now are there any Aussies up to the task of doing there own version? LOL
Brilliant. Think I have the first half dozen or so, remember getting them from GMT when we were living in SoCal. Great Presentation, lots of content...just like this video....
When will there be an episode with the NZ-HAMB-allstars, like @kiwijeff, @KiwiGlen, the guy with the unspeakable name that build the Last grasp special with a guy called tony, that fellow who build that awesome Willys coupe and a Willys pick up out of sedan body and stuff from his yard and and @Jimmy B. Those guys are great guys!! Salt of the earth! [emoji106] Kiwi tinbender is immigrated (?), but if not throw him in too. [emoji41] Edit: @Kiwi Kev, @woodbox and @whodaky.
Great videos guys, you should be proud. I was fortunate enough to go down some years back, and really enjoyed myself. Friendly people, nice scenery. I have helped a few "mates" send down some cars from Canada over the years, some late 60's AMX's and recently a 64 or 5 Pontiac Parisienne sport. I wish you all the best, and keep up the videos
Thanks again, really appreciate the feedback. I'm pretty excited about the next episode - due out March 1. 2 x Mercs (one mild, one custom), the maiden voyage of a hemi powered, chopped 34 5W, chopped 60 Caddy project, shoebox coupe, and a cool '34 pickup project to top it off. That should do it! Here's a couple of stills off the edit suite...
