Front tires scrubbing on outside edge. Measured center of front & back of tires, found toe in of 9/16". How does this relate to degrees? I've read conflicting suggestions about whether toe in or toe out gives better handling on straight axle Fords, always discussed in degrees. I don't know of a shop that still does front end work on "old" straight axle Fords, so I'm trying to adjust it myself. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Rod

  2. 9/16" is too much toe in, no wonder you're getting tire scrub. 1/8" is plenty. Any tire store should be able to set the toe-in, if you need more than a toe-in adjustment, take it to a place that aligns big trucks, they are used to beam axles.

Thanks for the advice, I'll do some checking this week. Since it is still on stands, I may look it over also. Very nice looking pick up!
