headlight scoops??????????

Any info or pics on making scoops above my headlights,their going on a 55 olds

Why? Pretty nice looking front end just the way Harley Earl intended it to look. I can't imagine cluttering it up with scoops.

 

Are you talking like the ones above the headlights on a 55 Pontiac ?

just trying to figure out what your trying to do . Are you planning grafting on some from another car or just fabricating them to look like the ones on a 55 Pontiac?

Just trying to help here, but Olds fenders and lights look pretty sweet as is, as do the Pontiac's.
The major difference being that the Pontiac's were DESIGNED to sit lower than the fender sweep.
If you put a scoop ABOVE the Olds's headlights, it seems you're gonna have to drop the headlights at least as much as the scoop's height. It's not just a matter of grafting a scoop up on top of your fender -- but then, you knew that, right?

 

Crazzzzzzzzzzy Baby..........I like scoops, but then again I'm SUPER partial.

Might need to just buy Poncho fenders to achieve the look without all that freakin work.

 

yeah your defenitely right I looked at it and I don't think its going to work,the fenders just don't slaNT ENOUGH
