First I want to thank everyone that stopped by and said "Hi" at Grand National Roadster Show. The amount of support and positive feedback was inspiring and almost overwhelming. We have hit the ground running and hopefully we will not disappoint you! The Faces of GNRS here http://www.hopupmagazine.com/faces-of-gnrs-2015/ I figure a couple of updates are due while we work hard on Volume 11 Issue 1. The magazine will now be quarterly, shooting for debut at The Lonestar Roundup. The magazine format will be larger than the Hop Up of old, at 7 3/4 wide by 9 1/2 tall, and thicker as well at 172 pages, all nice paper stock and printed in the USA. The two most asked questions so far have been about subscriptions and HAMB availability. Good news on both. Hop Up will be offered here in the HAMB Store. (so you can grab it along with the new Jalopy Journal in print!) We also have the online subscription form up and running at http://www.hopupmagazine.com/product-category/subscription/ So until April, keep your eye on the website http://www.hopupmagazine.com/ for more features and of course instagram @hopupmagazine for a daily dose of Hop Up! Say "hey" in person at Sacramento and Tulsa, and visit the Hop Up booth in the Basement at Detroit!------ special things planned for Detroit!!! Marcy
Thanks Marcy for the update. I know that it will be kool if you are involved with the project and I like what I'm reading about the changes and the subscriptions. See you at the Starbird show. Happy Trails, Mick
We saw the HOP UP booth at the AMBR! Great news as the peckerheads will always feel a connection as the current care takers Mark Mortons HOP UP special v4f-gmr racer.
Great news, I have enjoyed the few articles up on Hop Up website, the larger format will suit the content I have seen over on the site.
Marcy, I saw the X-11 under construction on my way through headed to the coast, I stood with my mouth open at the level of outstanding craftsmanship. Neither of them let on who the build was for (and I didn't ask) but on rest of the way to Seattle I pictured some hi-roller executive. I'm not sure I could have been MORE wrong. Looking forward to Hop Up. Take care
Thanks! Haha, no Hi-Roller that's for sure! The Riv is true to Thee Inland Emperors working class budget----Darrel and Russ are amazing and work very efficiently time wise, AND charge a very affordable shop rate. I'll be starting a thread on the whole build soon. Marcy
Happened to see you at Norm's Hanger as we were eating breakfast, saw the cool Cheap Trick styled shirt, but didn't know that was "Marcy" or I'd said Hi! Did stop by the booth, very kool venture to get into. Congrats!!!!!!
Picked it up at the show, talked w/Tim about it. Will see what I can put in there. Thank You and I wish you all the best.
See you in Detroit Marcy. Guess I'm gonna have to bring even more cash and hopefully you guys bring a shit ton of swag! Will you be bringing the Riviera?
