Gotta love that Tardel touch........another 21 studder he did (sorry if I'm jumping your gun Ryan, but this one is an all time favorite)..........
Love the car. Two things. The color and the 17's. Where did Vern get those radiator hose clamps Ryan?
That is some SWEET DOOKEY! Just one question, can it be a Brookville and still be "period correct"? The Tardel's are masters of their craft, no doubt, and the car is the tits, but doesn't it really qualify as traditionally inspired, as opposed to "correct"? Not trying to start any shit, just asking the question.........................
I think so... Which is weird because if it was glass, I wouldn't... In any case, lets not go there on this thread, ok? That argument is old and tired. People have opinions - let them be.
Copy that. like I said, not trying to stir the same ol pot, and not trying to hijack a thread on a fine-assed car................I'm good with "traditionally period correct"................
"Leftover specials" are very interesting. In talented hands, they can create a car that is unique and has distinctive personality. When a hack gets his hands on a pile of parts, you get a jumbled messed suited best to ratrodz.com. Some cats got it and some cats don't!
Welp, I'm usually the guy who loves simple, original type paint colors but I really don't care for that shade of brown. In retrospect, I can just imagine myself trying to come up with something- ANYTHING different from the other 9 deuce roadsters I just finished for this guy. This coming from a guy who picked a 48 ford steering wheel color for my coupe. A simple grayish-tan with a splash of green in it.
I just talked to Tardel... wheels are 17" front and rear. Like I said, the front is a bit of an optical illusion...
