Do any of you know what subframe will fit under 50-51 International L series Trucks? My buddy has one from a 78 Camaro for free if I can use it. I also thought it would make fitting the smallblock in my truck easier since the Camaro had a 305. Tried to get him to take some measurements but the loser can't read a tape measure. Hoping someone here had done this!!!!!

BTW, some nice hotrods and ratrods at the Chicago World of Wheels. Nice to see cars that get driven.

Plynch, I have a 56 S series that I believe is similar to yours. The track width on it measured approx 61" from drum to drum. According to the info I've found the camaro is 61 and a half wide. I have since put a mustang II on mine it was slightly narrow but looks nice with a slightly deeper offset wheel. Sure am glad to see another old binder out there. Good luck. Pool

  6. A Camaro clip will work fine, but it is too wide at the wheels........A friend of mine did that swap and only had to cut/ shorten the upper and lower control arms........he's been driving that truck for more than 20 years now:D
