Hi, I have been reading and gathering info on here for a while and finally decided to join. I talked my dad out of his 57 Chevy be-lair last spring (after years of bugging) He has had it the last 30. I went through the 355 last summer, next is to replace the saginaw 4 speed with a tko 600 to get some drive ability out of the 4.11 rear. Also looking at going g***er straight axle, so any input would be greatly appreciated. I would prefer to use an actual old straight axe instead of fabing a tube setup, mainly just for the looks. Looking forward to meeting some new enthusiast!!
