For me, the rear wheels look like 5 spokes and the fronts look like kidney bean type and to me look mismatched. Still a beautiful car. Really like the one in post 21. Thanks for posting.

Car's gorgeous! I have a nice one myself and I think it just increased in value once the world gets a load of how nice they can be.

  5. The front rims appear to be the same as the rears only fitted inside out.

I love everything about this car. I also love everything about almost every '32 Fordor. I also love everything about almost every '33, '34, '40, etc. Fordors. I really love most coupes and roadsters too!! I especially love Victoria's! There, I'm glad I got that off my chest. I feel SO much better now.

I Like the way he has moved the rear bumper closer to the body, I have been considering doing the same on mine, pleased to see how good it looks, and will fit in the garage a little better.

Using the sedan delivery bumper irons do improve the rear of the Deuce if you have eliminated the rear spare, they are now available from several vendors as a aftermarket piece.

I found a set for my tudor years ago at a swap meet.HRP

The wheels are from Ray Franklin who owns Vintage Engineering. http://www.vintageeng.com/
The wheels on the 4 door are the traditional set up on early indy roadsters. The fronts were 16x6 and rears were 18x7. They never made a match to the rear. The fronts are not the rears reversed. Vintage engineering wheels are true magnesium and are of great quality. The knock offs however are very unique. They are patterned off of the very early knock offs and were never made in 2 5/8" but for smaller axles. I would love to get a set of those. I had put a set of indy wheels and lobster brakes on my roadster years ago. I have been through the process and tire selection is a challenge.

Man Bruces car has got some at***ude. Fordors rock.

  18. I have it from an inside source at Moals, the paint alone was One Hundred Thousand Dollars. That's not a misprint. The whole car has a thin coat of Bondo on it, and it was a very nice car to start with. Defiantly nice looking, but it had a whole lot of money spent on it.

  19. OK, everyone's having their two cents worth, here's mine.
Great thread Jive Bomber, but you were brief with the details, saying there was over a hundred modifications. So I was interested, what's been done, then Ryan mentions tires, and everyone heads off in an, I like, don't like, on the tires.
****! I just wanna know what's been done.....
    Page two, thank you HEMI32.
Finally were getting to the guts of it, instead of an opinion fest on wheels an tires.
Then more pics from HEMI32. Thank you again, now I'm getting my fix.
Personally, I like it, and feel that as its not built as a traditional car, but rather a traditionally STYLED car, with big bucks thrown at it, everyone kinda missed that point.
Its no Hamb car, my guess is it wasn't intended to be, and I like it for what it is.
I prefer four door Duece hot rods to be fully fendered, and black, so that works for me.
