Folks Of Interest John Lafayette RIP

Just a quick note to you on the p***ing of John Lafayette. He posted on here under his name sometimes. John fought cancer for 3 years . He was 50.
Asking for thoughts and prayers for his wife and daughters.
John drove a bare bones Model A roadster and was finishing his '57 Ford Fairlane that he owned on and off since high school. A group of his friends have commited to finishing the car in his memory.

 

So sorry to hear of Johns p***ing.

Didn't know the man, but anyone who puts a Ford in a Ford( and a fine looking one at that) is a friend of mine.Another talented young person gone too soon. RIP, and condolences to the family.

This picture was taken of John in his roadster taken by Steve Bird thru the windshield of his Model A pu. They were traveling to Cruisin' the Milltown a couple of years ago. Picture looks like John is heading off into the fog. It has become a favorite of his friends.RIP,John.
