I picked this up at a yard sale because it looked NOS. Something tells me it is for a Straight Eight Buick, but that is just based on mounting flange shape and the length of the lever. I can't find a part number on it, just a bunch of patent numbers (last one says "Pat in Canada" 1948). Does anyone recogize it, or tell me where to look for a part number?

OK, after a long websearch, I found the answer on a Packard board. Carter fuel pumps have the part number stamped on the mounting flange. Mine was weak and I would have never found it without knowing where to look.

The answer to what my pump is:
    Carter - M2033S - 1955-56 Hornet 6

I know this is a long shot but do you still have the Carter fuel pump M2033S? My pump was broken in two while the engine was being removed from the car. Same number as the one you were asking about. I sure could use it if you aren't. Thanks, Mike.

Sorry, when I found out it was for a Hudson I knew I would never have any use for it. Good news for you. At about that time I looked on eBay, there were several for sale for real short money. I would keep an eye on eBay.
