saw this at a flea market tis weekend, first 61GMC I've seen in person.

 

One of my old trucks, came out of sonia, ga. Traded it to a friend of mine and he built it. Cool truck

1941 Studebaker truck... It started out as a 1 1/2 ton flatbed. It has had many body modifications . 4 inch chop . 2 inch's removed from the hood . 2 inch's removed from the side cowl . 3 inch's removed from under the door sill . channeled 5 inch's . the front fenders have been raised up 4 in's . the rear fenders are 52 Checy Truck . the bed is home made . S10 chassis with full on L.M.S.C. driveline . 302 Ford Cobra engine . T5 tranny . Franklin quick change with 3 link . air springs . full on stock car gauges ,steering wheel, clutch and brake pedals, front to rear brake bias control in the driver reach. the air springs are adjusted individually from the drivers seat, vintage short back sprint car seats,

Truck looks bad ass, build pics and descrip dont explain the huge tires on the front......AWD?

 

My 1959 chevy apache
Has a 350 sbc with a thumper cam backed with a 700r4
I put porto-walls on but as you can see they kinda flap off the tire so i got smaller size on front tires.
I havent taken any recent pictures due to working on stuff like lowering the truck and rebuilding transmission completely.. theres a more recent picture of front end. It rakes super hard so ima lower the rear soon. hopping to make it out to LSRU with it this year
