I got a new one for christmas and as much as I like it, its ugly as sin. Its the miller job with the fake metal ripping out with the diamond plate. Anyway thinking of maybe getting someone to pinstripe it for me but undecided. So I wanted to see some pics of nice lids, maybe to get an idea... Striped, painted, whatever.. thanks
ahh im not going to post a pic but mine is original matt finish black with a couple of Mr Horsepower woodpeckers on each "cheek"/side.
Fry, This post is just crying out to the Assguy(Glassguy). Maybe if he see's some of these cool helmets you guys have, he'll change his bad ways!
since I started the thread I guess I should show mine... my old one, rattlecanned in about 30secs. Its just a cheapy helmet. And the new one that needs help aesthetically speaking. Its a costly helmet and a gift, so a nicer treatment than the last one is in order.
Here is a pic of our family Christmas card. Welding helmet done by Bill Lee and bike helmet done by Grimlock (no longer on the HAMB). Ben
Got mine stripped today by Kruiser63... Heres the pics before and after.. The pic makes my paint job look better than it is, but doesn't make the green look as bright as it does it life.
I'll start off by saying I may be a rookie on the HAMB board but I'm no rookie in real life. I've been building cars for over 20 years and never once found it nessecary to do what you are doing in that picture. Please enlighten me as to why you need to do that? I'm never too old to learn..... Matt
here is mine i did. man my girl is a trooper........"here honey put this funny looking thing on your head and take a picture...smile"
