I have had a difficult time getting good pics of the lander in the garage.

It now runs and drives so I wheeled it outside just in time for it to start raining on me. I think It looks a lot better outside where you can see it with some real perspective.

It idles beautifully but when you put your foot to it it kind of hiccups a bit and sputters. I need someone smarter than me to figure that out. Ha Ha Ha

Damn, that thing looks awesome outside! The pics from inside definitely did not do the car justice.

I love that thing, excellant vision and creativity and the color combination complements it very well.
    Good Job.

that is so f'n wild. i love it. what wheel/centercap combo is that? the hesitation sounds like a fuel mixture problem. possibly getting too much air or gas off the line maybe? try some richer/leaner combo's & see what happens. always make sure you remember to write down where the mix screws were set at though. sometimes if things are worse after you mess with carb settings, its a ***** to figure out where you started.

Can we all say "AWESOME"? It truely resembles something Ed Roth, or the guys from the 60's would have made famous. I can't wait to see it in one of the books. Gumpa

oh yeah, the stumble sounds like the middle carb needs an accelorator pump. that is if its progressive linkage. its an easy fix even i can do it:D

Every time you post pics of the Lander I am more and more amazed at the progress of it. You did one hell of a job, outstanding work..

Dude, that IS off the hook! Very much like an old custom with a different flare! SO, whats next in your bag of tricks?

  20. If you see a fat guy look at your car, start drooling, then cover his crotch and quickly excuse himself in Detroit... You may want to refrain from using the public restroom til I "finish".

Speaking of that, has it already been rubbed out?:D :D

Your lander is almost perfect, but maybe just need a panel paint job on the sides...

Is there room for a trolling motor and some tackle storage in that b*** boat or what?:D That thing is killer man!

What is your timing set at? When I built the 327 we had more than just the carb setup to work at. The thing would idle but fell on its face on the stomp. We advanced the timing a bit and bam good to go.

Here's one more that shows the grille a little better.

The timing is set at 5 degrees I believe. Maybe it does need to go a little more?

I'd set it at 10 initial and see how that does. It may still need more.

It looks great man! I'm kinda diggin the guys Photoshopped flames / panels on it too.

The Lunar Lander ROCKS but I do have to admit, I think it would be time well-spent shooting a panel or two on it. This top version is about dead-on.

I agree, the panel job really sets it all off.
