Gotta finish the T and get the Shoebox roadworthy first. Oh, gotta build a shop in the new backyard too. Going to be 40' x 50' so I have enough room to build the monster!

What did you use for your running boards? Scratch built or did you modify something.

The running boards are from a '51 Ford F6 (non COE). I had to shorten/reshape them at the front edge.

Haven't updated this for a while.....got my flatbed cut down and mounted. Still need to put the wood deck on. Also mounted the front bumper, it's a '49 Plymouth that I widened.
Been driving it around a bit too...drives really nice!

I readily applaud the front bumper, looks fantastic!!!!!

I reduced my bumper holes since the picture, (taken in 1985 )

Thanks guys. Hope to get my bed finished, work out a few bugs and then just enjoy it for the summer.
Next winter maybe get the interior done.

Looking real nice Scott, Bumper is just right, guessing it took two or you have a metal stretcher.

Hmmmm, looks like a bunch of my pics in this thread disappeared?

Well, lot's has happened since the last update.......after driving the truck around for a bit the engine developed an internal noise. So out it came for a total rebuild. While it was apart I installed a performance cam and did some porting on the head.
All that work set me back a couple months, then winter hit. So not many miles on the new engine, but it sure runs sweet!
All I can say is I'm gonna drive the **** outta this thing when spring comes!
Got a list of little things to do to it over winter.......

    Couple pics

I find that when I log in the most of the pictures disappear, maybe try logging out..that's what I have to do.
I am glad you posted this as I hadn't considered extended cab for my build. I just need a little more for a seat.....
Thanks for the build thread, It came out Great~!
