what temp is your running at?if it is too cold(like 160 or below)it will hicup.try syncing the carbs also,to make shure they are all three pulling the same amount of air at idle.that way it will make a nice off idle transistion.

Beautiful! I too was thinking the sides looked a little plain, but I wouldn't put anything too big or outlandish on them. Maybe just some flame licks - possibly outlined only. Damn sure wouldn't have it running behind the tire.... Hummm... Looking at it again what about a *small* flame coming up out of the exhaust pipe? ;^D
Also check your dwell after setting your timming - that can cause a stumble too.

    Very cool.

I agree with the panel comments. I didn't think it at first, but seeing the photoshops made me go hhhmmmmmm.....

Personally, I think the flamed one is right on.

Yes Zumo, my arm is sore. But it is mainly from ************ while watching soft core **** on Cinemax.

Plowboy, I gotta admit that I was losin' the vibe once it got paint. BUT, when I saw the panels photochopped on 'er I actually gasped a little. Made me chubby fer a second too. I'm really wonderin' about the headers now though. I liked them before the paint. Not they're kinda like a booger hangin' off some hotties nose.

Critical eye aside, it fuggin' rocks!

So yeah...what's next? Gonna take a break and help Frizby get his done, or...???

    Nah SInk,
THe headers RULE for that reason. They do indeed add a little hiccup to the smoothness of the car. That, to me, is poetry.

Anything too perfect would be like a Boyd car.

The lunar lander says "hey look at me, I'm a pretty HOT ROD". "I can look good and tear *** at the same time"..

Those headers give it a little bit of a bad at***ude.

.....plus, I like hotties with snot dripping out of thier noses. :D

Ting I don't think he who will remain nameless could ever muster up this kind of concoction. For me it's not the headers themselves that don't look right, but the space that they leave in front of them. Looks kinda odd to me. Wtf do I know though! :D Hard to tell without seein' it in person they might be just right for all I know. I still think panels on it would friggin' rock!

I fuggin' love it either way.

I think I ended up around 14-15 somewhere. That was a little at a time though. I was just running on the strip. 10 is probably a good spot. Just as long as it still starts easy your good to go. I think I am going to move the Gunn to the new house Saturday. I found some old lights in the shed out there that I need to wire up. Then drag the welder out there.

The pannels look great! I think a little torch ****,(gas no oxigen) and clear would put it right in the 60's.

But it is way cool as is.
