Here's a Deuce Axle with a one and a half inch "gentleman's drop." We built this car for a customer, who had his genny heavy axle dropped by one of the vendors who gets a lot of ink here on the HAMB. The kingpin boss angles were not equal side-to-side (you can see it here if you look hard), one side has more camber than the other. You can't beat a dropped Henry axle for strength and beauty -- but pick a vendor that knows what he's doing.

I don't currently have ANY mufflers on it. Just straight 1.75" pipes front to back. I might put some brockman Mellowtones on it this spring.

Looking forward to this build. Nothing better than a model A on '32 rails. Here's mine:

What a beautiful ride bp! What axle drop, spring and front/back tire combo are you running? I love it!

    Hey J. Ho,
The axle is a 46" superbell with a 4" drop with a mono spring up front. Out back I am running 11.5" aldan coil overs. I too built my car with some modern aspects, but held to traditional style. You can see my build here on the HAMB. Wheels are 16 x 4.5 in front with coker bias 4.50/4.75 x16 and in the rear the wheels are 16 x 6 with 700 x 16 tires.
