i need to purchase bushings for my chubby chassis frontend but i think the company is no longer in business can anyone point me in the right direction
I don't even think Squirrel knows everything but I've never heard of Chubby Chassis, do you mean a big boned Louisiana girl? Maybe a picture would help.
a Google search found this: http://www.chubbychassis.com/ looks like they used 4-bar bushings 800-200-1425 ........i called the number and they answered. had a short conversation and they are still in business , and yes...they are 4-bar bushings. they were not aware of the Hamb. they can fix you up i guess i'm kinda bored this morning
Did you have any luck finding the bushings? I left a voicemail to the number above and never heard back. My front upper control arm bushings no longer exist
Did anybody here find out any info on replacing those Chubby Chassis bushings? I did a full frame off on my '55 Chevy p/u with their Mustang ii IFS. 17 years ago and those thing are done. Thanks
Like what was said, looks like a standard 4-bar end. Check thread and pin size. An example http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Rod-E...-Rod-End-3-4-16-RH-Thread-Straight,60385.html
You could also get the measurements of the actual urethane bushings and check with Pete & Jakes as they have a variety of bushing and sleeves.
