1932 ford commercial rad cap what's it look like?

Anybody out there know what a commercial 32 radiator cap looks like? I'd love to see a pic

Very similar to a 31 Model A gas cap,I have one but I'll have to find it. HRP

they are so rare that I was offered $200 for every one I could find by a rod shop that builds a lot of trucks

 

Never would have dreamed that.

 

Try the archives on fordbarn.com. They just went through this question in detail in the last couple of weeks.

Are they supposed to be shiny or painted?
Mine seems to have a couple of coats of paint on it.

 

Every pic that I have seen show them as shiny. Also the engineering drawing indicates stainless but being commercial may have come in black as well ?

Upon closer inspection......the edges of mine do look shiny so maybe mine is just painted over.
