I am sure most of us built model kits as a kid, I know I did and as a matter of fact that is where I first learned what parts went where on a car. While it has been quite a while since I have built one, I still collect em. Show us what you've got ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1424915269.249187.jpg ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1424915283.244839.jpg ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1424915299.245722.jpg ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1424915312.017348.jpg ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1424915325.543684.jpg ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1424915347.545227.jpg ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1424915374.466993.jpg ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1424915388.111397.jpg

Built late 50s early 60s Doors and trunks cut open with a heated X acto knife. White corduroy made great upholstery and trunk lining. Swival buckets turned on machine screws/nuts. LIl Pogo.jpg 32 coupe.jpg pearl white shoe box.jpg 40 gasser.jpg

Just a few that are the mostly on-topic ones that aren't boxed.

That Ed Roth Testor's paint display is the bomb. Where did you find it?

  20. I like the box art on a lot of the old ones as much as the models themselves. Cool thread.

Ps @Moriarity I'm always jealous whenever I see any of your stuff.

I got it as part trade on a car deal years ago from a guy near chicagto that had bought out some old hobby shops. It was NOS in the orig box when I got it!!

Wish I still had all the models I built in the 60's and 70's. I gave them to a young cousin. Years later he offered them back, but at the time I was only interested in the 57 Chevy figure 8 race car I had built when I was about 8 years old. My brother and I used to get in trouble stinking up the house when we made some of our "hot knife" creations. I guess this one always remained one of my favorites.
I prefer working more with diecast now and sometimes build models to help visualize my full size builds.

Great work!...I suppose familiarity with the subject didn't hurt!
