Not that you need anyone's opinion,,,,,

    I love it.

Get some pinstriping done and forget all the panel job talk. It looks fine. Better than fine, in-fuggin'-credible.

    Leave the headers alone too.

...unless you want to change things, then, by all means - go for it. You went this far by yourself, you can surely figure it out from here out.

Oh damn, I have been sort of disconnected for the interweb for a while, only to get back on to HAMB and find this! Last pics I saw of it you were still fabbing up the body. I love it!

HAHAHA, I love how all of you have been fooled by Plowboy. This is not a car, it is not a mode of transportation, it is merely an acessory to accent his pretty blue eyes. Anyone who says otherwise knows nothing about fashion. This isn't about cars its about fashion.

You should get one of these and use it for your tool kit.

[plowboy, in my mind (and it's a small one) that is what car building is about, imagination, creativity, and the cahonnas to do it, too cool:cool: quote=Plowboy]I have had a difficult time getting good pics of the lander in the garage.

It now runs and drives so I wheeled it outside just in time for it to start raining on me. I think It looks a lot better outside where you can see it with some real perspective.

It idles beautifully but when you put your foot to it it kind of hiccups a bit and sputters. I need someone smarter than me to figure that out. Ha Ha Ha[/quote]

I love it. If this was 45 years ago that thing would be on the cover of Hot Rod.

I did order one of those Liberace standups by the way.

The wheels/tires are Astro Supremes with Radir Bullets.

Nothing is getting changed on this car now except for the upholstery. I'm going to start on #3 next. I want to go to Bonneville next year, so I need a beater to take out there.

I thought about a panel job but I didn't want it to look busy and cluttered. the white is pearl white, it just doesn't show in the pics.

I was born in '73, so this is just my interpretation of a 60's show rod. Ha ha ha

That's cool. My suggestion was just that. It's your car & it should be like you want it. It easy to look at a finished paintjob & say "I would/should have done this" - I do it all the time with my own work. Plus, we're looking at a pic & cars always look different in person. Everyone is just saying the white side looks plain looking at the pic. I love the headers, but I would also do something about the plain space under them (I have no idea what). Also, I would match up the whitewalls. But that's just me. :)
Maybe one day I'll get to see it in person; it's a FABULOUS creation!

Good job! It's good to see that kind of creativity these days. I'll bet it looks better in the sun light, and the panel idea don't look to bad either. So, what do you call it, by that I mean what make and year model, just curious. Thanks.

Very cool car. I like the flamed panel, but I think the front of the panel is too square. Also looks good without the panel, but please don't tell me after all that work you are holding the trunk lid down with hood pins.

That's the most amazing thing I've seen since the Rod-Riguez Tudor Model A from Tokyo! I mean the original version; I think Junichi lost it when he redid it.

I like the Lunar Lander's paint without the panels, and I can't wait to see it with Upholstery. Amazing.

you don't have to have a BEATER to go to B'ville. if the 52 can be on the salt,so can the LL.
