looking for white floor mats for my coupe, just simple rectangles. does any one know who makes/sells them?
yeah i thought it would be easy. i can find light gray, tan black etc... but no white. i was hoping they were being reproduced for 50' era cars. did any cars from the fifties have them originally?
i had a set in the car from when my dad put them in, in the late fifties and the rubber dried out and disintegrated. the rubber always seamed to stay pretty clean and if they got dirty a quick wipe cleaned them.
These come in white. http://www.sheepskinoutlet.net/product/Acura-Floor-Mats-Rubber I can't even keep a headliner clean.
Wally World has these. http://guide.alibaba.com/shop/kraco-best-rubber-floor-mat-set-clear_12015021.html (Just watch out for stampeeding Wally World beefallows)
thanks, not the pattern i was thinking of but i bet they would get me something in the right shape. those are a little to "techno-tuner" for the car. they are for this;
Blowby had the same idea that I had. Check your local carpet store. Rubber floor runners can be gotten in white. They may have some offcuts big enough for what you need, or buy a couple yards and cut it yourself.
Teddy, check out Restoration Supply Company's catalog; they offer pyramid and ribbed rubber/vinyl for floormats in white; p.33 http://www.restorationstuff.com/pdf/RestorationSupplyCompany.pdf
okay, i called restoration supply yesterday and was told they do not have white, they did have some for a short time, last year but not now. they told me to let them know if i find some so they can restock it. has any body tried repainting mats with white wall paint?
