Hey everyone my names Jake. New to doing period correct so if I say something dumb don't shoot!

Well it has a long way to go to become correct but that's the goal. Pulled it out of a barn in Iowa about two weeks ago after sitting 4 years where it was. Has basically been sitting since the early 90s. Its rough and needs a lot of love but I am pumped to get it back to what it was! Any recommendations would be much appreciated as I am new to this type of car.

Basics of the car are a 283 I believe to be a 64-66 appears stock aside from a hei distributor. Saginaw 4-speed is what I was told for the trans have not confirmed that yet.

Rough? This car? Put some unpolished 5 spokes from the day, lower the nose 3". Detail the engine compartment pure Bob Bauder style and buff out the paint.

It pictures well. Paints rough. Needs quarters. But perfectly good driver for now. Just need to lurk here and learn what all I can and should do to keep it correct.

Here is my rough driver. Lowered, era (early-mid 60's wheels) 5 spokes. What do mean by correct? '65 & older styling cues?

Yeah I want to stick to what this site is all about. Pre 65 parts and styling.

Your car looks awesome I like it a lot. The wheels are a good fit for it as well. The main thing im doing my car up for is to cruise daily but I also want to attend torquefest this year also and dont want hassled about getting into the show.

Jake, get rid of the Centerlines and white lettered tires and you will be admitted into the show. That's all I see that would prohibit you from meeting the requirements. My name is also Jake, welcome to the HAMB and enjoy the show.

Yeah I knew they were issues. Thinking I'm going to get chrome steelies and white walls. Thanks for the advice!
