  5. That last one, the little mini-pickup could be a scary ride sharing the road with bigger vehicles, and I don't think I could get my long-legged carc*** in it.

    Number 8 is an Amphicar. There is one that has been around here for years. I saw a red one bobing around in Lake Superior 40 years ago. They are kind of cool. :)

    I think this is a picture of an alternative to using gasoline during WWII. Someone came up with the idea of filling big bags with a gas to power cars. I'm thinking they called it some kind of coal gas but I'm not entirely sure, it's there just out of reach in my memory somewhere, I read about them someplace.

    Does anyone know what gas they used?
