Thanks man! Appreciate it! The plan is to go as low as it will go. Gambino customs has a bag kit for the 52-54 fords. I might have to wait for next winter though, its getting warm out.... cruising time!

Funny, that was the first thing I thought too - that it looked like a Hudson.

I've been hard at work with the ford. Despite the lack of post. Try to give a update with pics!

Put the car in black primer for now. Not even close to finishing all the body work this year. But its time to cruise.

Attached the side pipes, liked the look of true sides, and nothing out the rear. Thought it had a clean look to the rear end. The rear window does not have the gasket around it yet. Window is just sitting on rags, just to get a feel of the final look

Didn't get a chance to French the headlights this year. This DEC will be focusing on "smoothing" out the front end. 54 Chevy grill is all put together and just has to be bolted in!

Now just section the body about 4" and make it match.

5" out of the front. And around 6-6½" in the back. Its hard to say with the rear, instead of using an exact formula, we just eyeballed it. Got it to a pitch that we thought looked good, and tacked it in.
