I have a small quan***y of USA made heavy duty 1/2" wheel studs to fit most early Chevy cars (1938 thru 1960) and pick-up trucks ('46-'62 1/2 Ton & Ser 10). These studs suit the large knurl shank diameter used in pre '61 Chevys) , Corvettes and pick-ups - with the stud holes just needing to be enlarged very slightly . As far as I know there are NO 1/2" aftermarket studs available with the large diameter but SHORT knurl shank to suit stock axles. The 1/2" stud size gives you the extra strength for running large diameter, sticky tires or performance applications. These studs are 3/16" longer than the original early Chevy studs making them suitable for rear disc brake conversions. These studs are discontinued old stock and are no longer available ; manufactured in the USA from high quality heat treated steel not like the cheap Chinese plated junk that most suppliers are selling these days. Selling a set of 10 studs (one axle set) for $40 plus postage.
