    Picked this up today.
Model B restored in the 60s, aprox 57K original miles. Runs good and stops OK for mech brakes.

  5. Nice, but not to nice to hot rod, or tidy up, flick off for huge profit, and buy five hot rods. :D
Just wanted to get in before the resident restorers started up, haha.;)

This is a nice car, this was a rare option. Not to rare to cut up, but I wouldn't be man enough to cut it up.
But it still begs for something get up and go.

What are your plans? Damn fine is it all steel and unmolested?

    Larry, I didn't pay over $5,000 for the engine . :)
The car is all Henry steel that it came from the factory with.
Not sure what I'll do with it yet, but I like fenders and I'm not chopping it.
This summer will probably be clean it up, adjust a few things and drive it.

OK guys: I'm not going to ask gonzo what he paid for this car but, it is pretty darn good looking shape and complete and runs so what's something like this go for? I'm contemplating selling the cabrio this year and build my "keeper". This is one of the cars I have in mind. Tim

    Tim,

    Nice cabrio project.
Wont say what I paid, but it was substantially less than they were asking.

Is that the one that was a subject of conversation over on the FordBarn? No one over there could get past the red paint.
I would paint the fenders to match then start looking for a late model flathead to put in it.

I like the "red". is it faded, original, or a custom color?

A little faded, a little chipped, but it was done 50 years ago.

I don't remember saying I wasn't going to hot rod it.
I said I wouldn't put a 350/350 combo in it. (hope this is not a requirement for a hot rod)
I said I wasn't going to chop it or take the fenders off it. (hope that not only chopped fenderless cars can be hot rods)
I'll drive it the way it is this summer while I gather parts.

  27. Yup, I got where you were heading with what you posted.
Congrats on the car, I'm sure whatever you do will be in good taste.

  28. I love the weathered red paint with the black fenders. I say freshen the mechanicals up a bit, maybe some juice brakes and a slight attitude adjustment is all it needs.

That's one of the neatest Tudors I have seen on here in awhile.

Edit: The more I look at it the more I like the stance. I'm not sure if I would mess with it much.

I like it. I would probably just drive it. Biggest change I would make is a V8 flathead.
