Just wondering if you could get me the inside, corner to corner measurements on the rear bumper. I would really appreciate it!

    Thanks,

Did you want the outside edge of the bed or the ends of the bumper?

The bumper on my '53 is a repop, and measures 69.5", corner-to-corner. It's got a step in the middle, so might actually be the '54 bumper style? Should get you in the ballpark though.

3 different rear face bars are found on these trucks, or 4 if you count the '54 ... The original (optional) part is the flattest and least common ... the most common is just a front face bar used for replacement, as Chevrolet didn't sell replacement rears ... the panel/suburban rear has the most curve on the ends. All have the same bolt spacing ... back bars vary, '47-'53 1/2 ton pickups use one set, 3/4 - 1 ton another, and panel/suburban are completely different
