Great video!! You don't see many that go over the build of the car like they did in this one. Thanks for sharing

I think Austinrod is barking up the right tree with his idea for a streetified version of this coupe. I hope it turns out looking "true" to the original guise. Kool video, too. I'd still suggest scarfing up a pair of Palamides...for those trips to the strip days...

Very cool video. It's neat to learn a bit about Chuck Flanagan, although he didn't beat the Speed Shop car, his Model A looks like a sweet little car.

Can't wait to see how Austinrod's car turns out!

Great film. Nice seeing half moon bay and freemont drag strips and of course Sammy Hale. First nostalgia rail to go in the 5's at the March Meets a few years back.

That particular rendition is by Booker T and the MG's with the Memphis Horns, Steve Cropper, and Donald "Duck" Dunn, if I'm not mistaken..............Roy Buchanan also did a smokin' rendition, as did the Ventures

  26. Ryan, Great stuff. It brings back memories. I used to go to Half Moon Bay Dragstrip in 1957-58 as a teenager. I went with some of the guys from the San Francisco Ramblers car club.
