Thanks i used to haul cars but that was like 10 years ago and all my connections have faded away and all i could find were load brokers and i dont want to deal with them

  4. I get BenD to haul anything I need hauled. he should be in the HAMODEX or just search BenD under members search or message him.

  5. None of the guys listed are brokers, you deal with the hauler himself. HRP

  6. Whatever you do, do not contact DAS.. dependable auto shippers. They are a pimp-portal into the whorish nightmare of auto shipping brokers.

  7. Bottom line...use a HAMBER!

The guy that bought my 32 fourdoor sedan was told by a broker that the car would be in a enclosed trailer,a Russian guy shows up in a Ingles parking lot and can't speak 10 words of English and couldn't understand anything I said.

He was drive this monstrosity and the car was exposed to the elements all the way to California,,this is not what he paid for. HRP

If you don't find a Hamber, I have had Tim Hatfield of Hatfield Hauling (218.820.7064) pick up a motorcycle from me that I sold to someone out of state. The buyer was extremely happy with him. Not a broker; just him and his dad. I found him very conscientious and careful. I kept in touch w/him as I was looking at a car in FL (needed to get it to NE). I was shocked at how reasonable his rate was. I didn't end up getting the car though.

You can PM me for a personal reference. Used same hauler 2X from SLC to Louisville KY area with great results. Owner/operator with enclosed trailer. Very reasonable, reliable and great attention to detail.

I'll second the endorsement for Bill Squires at Bill's Auto Works out of Ohio. Really helped me out of a bind last year and would not even accept a tip when he made the delivery. Class act.

I'm kinda' in the same situation. I need a car moved from North Idaho to Las Vegas. Doesn't appear to be any one from close by. Any thoughts or suggestions?

I guess I've been lucky have shipped several expensive cars with Reliable and several with Fed X never had any problems to date. When I tried some of the small private carriers they didn't want to deal with coming out in the country and for some reason always asked what the value of the car was and when I told them they went away. I would never let any car or chassis leave my yard in an open trailer. Had to ship an assembled deuce chassis with motor an trans recently and the owner used U Ship It. Guy show up with a enclosed single car trailer and took it all the way from Nebraska to Pennsylvania for 1200.
