I have finally gotten another Econoline, after the Murder Van was totaled in 2010 I figured i never would but here i have found myself with another one, a 1964 pick up. It has the stock 14" steel wheels on it now, i have been told that they are 5 x 4.5 bolt pattern. i have been looking for a chart or whatnot to show me what car might have had a 15" by 6" 5 x 4.5 on it. Needless to say i haven't found one. so, does anyone know the best way to figure out what cars had em? coz i need two for the back of my truck. and they don't seem to be as easy to find as i thought they would be. thanx! The Econoline of that vintage used more-or-less the same wheels as used on the Ford cars, so look for wheels off mid-60's/early 70s full-size Fords and Mercurys as they used the 15" wheels. You'll find varying widths (5, 5.5, and 6") depending on year/model/engine, wagons usually had the wider wheels. The 6" width is the less-common one, but not all that rare. Ford used that bolt pattern (5 on 4.5) from 1949 through the early 80s on a lot of cars in both 14" and 15" sizes. Dodges, Plymouths, and some Chryslers also used that pattern from the 50s through the 70s, although the wheel design/shape will be a bit different.
Good to see you back in an Econoline. Hated to see your old van end in such a tragic way. Duane in Tennessee
i ran some spares i had from my shoebox ford on my 67 econoline. they fit fine, but always made the truck feel like the center of gravity was too high.
