New to the site. Building a 47 Studebaker pickup on an S-10 ch***is with 49 Merc flat head V8. Semi Rat Rod. Planning to finish with ground, polished and clear coated front end and cab panels with black satin hood and fenders. "Its hard for a car guy to keep the Rat in a Rat Ride." Car guys want to make everything more pretty. Any feed back on similar builds would be appreciated. Thanks John
Heads up. The hamb doesn't do rats. But if its built safely with taste it isn't a rat. It doesn't have to be all chrome and deep color, but if its mechanically safe and built with some taste its not a rat rod. If you try and do a true piece of **** rat, the moderators will probably delete your thread. Good luck with your build.
No problems its not a true Rat ..its more a custom rod/truck build. The only thing rat about it will be some of the body finish. Rat Riders will not think its rat worthy.
