1952-59 Ford 351 cleveland swap

    hi everyone. newbie here. i got a 56 ford club sedan that want to put a 351 cleveland in. i think the main issue will be exhaust, especially on the drivers side. has anybody done this before? any help would be great. im using a sbf toploader and a 9 inch rear. in the car now is the 272 and 3 speed. thanks.

    scroll down to 6-2-2012, you will find a member thats getting ready to make the 351C swap.

    No updates since, maybe he will chime in and let us know his progress.

    I too have all the parts to make the same swap, I just haven't had the time lately to get out to the garage to get started. I hope to make the swap using an AOD transmission.

    You did notice the original post was 3 years ago? If you are planning this swap yourself best to start from scratch again,let us know what it's going into and what transmission you will use.
