FM too funny. Oh the rust pile will be high! I'm not close to done.

thanks! I've got a lot of help on this build, trying to hit the streets by spring. you need a gas tank? I've got an oval T tank thats fairly nice.

 

sprinkle the rust in your driveway for traction

I had the six in it for a bit but it was too tall and speed parts are overpriced so I decided to go with my old standby v8.

 

Great work so far!

 

Can't wait to see more!

 

i need it. too bad rust doesn't melt ice dams, we would be all set!

 

I want to build a roadster with a full-house ford flathead 6 in it someday...

Don't mean to sound uneducated but what does it mean to "flip the bells"? Love the way it's coming out. Nice work.

 

The 40 rear is a spring behind, flipping the bells puts the spring in front of the axle

 

Yup. Easier to shorten a tapered frame then to lengthen it and the rear cross member stays out of the trunk. In theory anyway
