    Sorry, I couldn't help myself.

Long time car-nut, but brand-new to the H.A.M.B. I've owned several cl***ic/special interest vehicles over the years, currently own a '66 Buick Skylark, and the '41 Chevrolet Special Deluxe coupe pictured. Just inherited the Chev from my father-in-law this past November, which he had owned for the past quarter century. As of now it's bone stock, though my intention is to turn it into a late '50s vintage mild custom-- lowering, nose & deck, flipper caps, nerf bars... would like to drop a 265 or 283 SBC into it as well someday... if anyone out there has a similar '41 and would care to share knowledge/ideas/photos it would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi Soddruntlestuntle.

Welcome and cool to see you're from Fresno. That is a nice coupe. Have you thought about a mild chop? These cars look amazing with a mild chop.

Thanks, and ditto, glad to see a fellow Fresnan! I would love to chop it and do some other mods, but I've also got a '66 Buick Skylark that I'm messing with, so funds are spread thin right now... but rest ***ured, when I win the lottery, I'll be taking a few inches off the top! BTW, before I throw this out to the general public, do you know of any good paint/body shops in this area?
