The cool and slammed FENDERED 1940 - 1947 Fat Ford truck thread

There has to be a good story behind that photo.....let's hear it!

 

I don't consider my '40 "slammed", but lowered.

 

The short version...
I was running sweeper for a Harley poker run in the Beartooths and I was asked to haul a downed bike back into Red Lodge. I loaded the bike and the MSP stopped me a couple miles later and charged me with misdemeanor tampering with evidence/obstructing an investigation. The Carbon County Judge threw out the case... the highway patrolman was honestly out of his depth and was just pissed about having the poker run through "his" town.

 

A friend of mines, 47 on s10 chasis,4.3 vortec.. probably gonna be getting it from him

 

This is mine. I've started pulling it apart. A scary set up once I started pulling fenders and the box off. It will be a long term project. I will be selling the wide whites/rim/caps and the paint will be a 1940 Ford colour.
