I have a 1934 Ford 1/2 ton pickup. I have been searching high and low for an interior wood kit with no luck! Do any HAMBers know where i can get such a kit? NO steal square tube bracing for me; it's gotta be wood...lol! This is for my traditional hot rod build and I'm picky...hahaha. Someone has to know...right???

  2. Well, it's been many years since I sold it, but I sure don't remember there being much wood in my '32 pickup.

I think the only wood in them is for the back of the seat mount.

There's two vertical and one horizontal wood piece's at the rear window too. Does anyone know anybody who custom makes it?

I ordered my interior wood from Brads Wood Shop in WA 360-317-5723. He sent my cab mounting blocks in Dec and said he would send me the cab wood in late March when he returned home from spending 3 months in a warmer climate. I've had him make me other wood and it is cabinet quality and has always fit. Worth the wait. I remember him asking me if it was a 32/33 cab or a 34 so I assume he has both. On my last 32 pu I ordered the wood from Mack Hills and it didn't fit very good.

Thankyou, I found a company called wood art just now...lol. They have it as well as all other early ford models up to 1948. It looks high quality and it's only $175 for the interior.

Don't know if you've already ordered or what not but I think I got mine from Mack Hills.

.....and it was only $130. I haven't installed as yet though so cannot provide feedback on quality of fit but looks right.

I sure wish you good luck.I had a nice straight cab with a perfect back and to get some of the bolts thru the horizontal strip I ended up going in with a die grinder and moving some of the holes. That wouldn't have been a problem but I was planning on finishing the wood and leaving it exposed. With some of the holes oval-ed out it didn't look the best. The vertical upper pieces and seat back vertical pieces fit fine. I'll let this thread know how the new pieces I bragged on fit.
