  2. Actually someone offered me a bran new set of light up plug wires for my bike but after a little thought I decided that I didn't need to attract any more attention to myself than I already am. :D

I do spend a lot of tie thinking about doing things and how to do them just incase I ever want to.

in the late 70s & early 80s, extra lights were a short-lived fad around here. go to the local truck stop & they have a big ***ortment. some guys put them (or fog lights) behind the grille. actually made the whole grille light up. most (even me) had some on the rear axle. some hooked to taillights, some to brakes. easily seen when you had your hi-jackers pumped up. of course, I couldn't afford hi-jackers, just some Kmart airshocks. not really "traditional" unless you think the 80s was a LONG time ago.

I've had one car with lights under it, it came with them if it matters Haha. They were truck clearance lights with colored lenses and lit the ground fairly well.

I would be leary of a red or blue light because that's the sort of thing that gets you pulled over for police impersonation.

Anyhow I guess a tasteful color on a very low mild custom could work, but the only time Ive seen it and though it was clever they were lights in the wheel wells that were aimed to light up the dish and spokes of some polished five spokes.

Back in the day customs in this area often had lights (in their white painted wheel wells) mounted to show off their spinner hubcaps, so I guess it was traditional around here. Or maybe those guys were just ricers before their time.

I plan to put some sort of red lights under the *** end of my RPU, lighting up the axle and stuff, mainly so that idiots driving behind can see me all the better. I have red tear drops as tail lights, but where I live the roads are infested with single cell creatures who never took a driving lesson in their life, and the more visible I am, the less likely I'll get tail-ended.

Or maybe they'll simply drive closer to have a better look, nothing surprises me.....

  16. Would be one of the better ideas for a third brake light.

If I could find some that someone didn't think were made of gold I would get a pair of 1000 hp lights for my bike, but I doubt that they would make any difference if some numb nutz isn't looking already another two lights isn't going to make any difference.

Fellas, please make use of the "report" ****on when you see an off-topic thread. Some of you know better than to comment...all you're doing is pushing good content down the page.
