Don Argee used to bring out an evil sounding fuel A roadster to the Vintage Racing Association events at Sears Point. Same guy, different roadster?

 

Here's a shot from Drag News. Larry showing Don the coupe's backside during a title defense at LIONS.

 

Same guy, new roadster, but still used the old Hilborn shotgun injector.

Here is an odd duck that I don't recall seeing in this thread, Noel Blacks' salt/drag car.

I remember seeing it in another HAMB thread from years past.

 

What class would this have been running in?

 

It's likley a wheelstander, or it would run as an "exhibition" car, or no class "run what you brung" funny car.

 

Joe Panak's blown 32 Cad V12 fuel coupe. Way to cool.. You had to hear this thing run.

 

Really miss this guy, even to this day. RIP Les
